You just made yourself a delicious fruit/veggie juice and it’s so tasty that you suck it down way faster than it took you to make it. Why not right? Drinking fresh juice is extremely healthy for you! Something we tend to forget about juice is that it comes from whole fruits and vegetables. Because we live in such a fast paced society, it’s easy to rush through our meals and forget to chew our food thoroughly. The act of juicing or blending is actually helping your body break down the food so it takes less energy to digest. When we take it to the next level and actually chew our juice as we’re drinking it, it releases enzymes in our mouth that aid the entire process of digestion.

It may seem silly, but chewing your juices and smoothies will actually help you become even healthier than you already are! Amazing! If you get in the habit of chewing your liquid food, you might actually remember to chew your whole food too! Slow down and enjoy the nutrients as they enter your body! To you health!
